Advizy ("we", "us") is a South African comparison and advice platform operated by Syntera Labs. This policy explains how we handle your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
- Comparison answers — your needs, budget range, province and town, used to generate your recommendation. These are not linked to you unless you request quotes.
- Contact details — your name, phone number and (optionally) email, only when you ask to receive quotes or claim a business listing.
How we use it
- To generate your AI recommendation and match suitable providers.
- With your explicit consent, to share your name, contact number and requirements with the providers matched to your request — so they can contact you with quotes.
- To verify business listing claims.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information to third parties.
- We never share your details with anyone other than the providers matched to your specific request.
- We never charge you — providers pay us for introductions, which does not affect your price.
Storage & security
Your information is stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Access is restricted and encrypted in transit and at rest.
Your rights (POPIA)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Email us at hello@advizy.co.za and we will action your request promptly. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
AI-generated advice
Recommendations are generated by an AI model from the answers you provide. They are information and comparison only — not financial, legal or engineering advice. Final system design and pricing are confirmed by your chosen provider.
